Farrell’s eXtreme Bodyshaping is excited to welcome new owners to our Grimes, Iowa, location!
Jenae, Joey, and Scott are ready to take on this new role as owners and become a part of our Farrell’s franchise family! Heading up the Grimes location as Head Coach is Brenda Huntley. We caught up with the new Grimes leadership team to learn a little more about them.
Jenae Halstead found her passion for the health and fitness industry over 14 years ago when she enrolled at Farrell’s Beaverdale. She has been a Farrell’s kickboxing and strength training instructor since 2004. In addition to stepping into an ownership role at Farrell’s Grimes, Jenae is also a certified sports nutritionist at a local health company, helping countless people with their nutrition goals. When not at Farrell’s or helping a client, you’ll find Jenae on the sidelines cheering on her daughter, Olivia, in whatever activity she sets her mind to accomplish. Jenae is looking forward to taking the Farrell’s Grimes location to “Level 10”.
Joey is a certified sports nutritionist and owns Max Muscle Sports Nutrition in Clive. Over the past 10 years, Joey has helped countless Farrell’s members with their nutrition, including three National Challenge winners. Joey also owns and operates Customized Construction, a commercial and residential construction company. More than anything, Joey enjoys spending time with his children, Delaney and Dakota.
Originally from Newton, Iowa, Scott graduated from the University of Iowa. Throughout his 20-year career, Scott has developed several relationships with business leaders throughout the United States. He attributes his success to his ability to connect people who can impact each other’s lives. Scott enjoys spending time with his family, friends, running, golf, and everything that comes along with being an avid University of Iowa fan. His first Farrell’s session was in 2008 at our Farrell’s Ashworth location.
Brenda began Farrell’s in January 2012. Brenda, along with a small group of members would travel 30 miles, six mornings per week to class. She fell in love with everything the program has to offer. When an unexpected career change opened up the opportunity for her to become Head Coach for Grimes, she was excited and knew it was the right time to take on a fun, new challenge!
“I love the feeling community and the bonding of Farrell’s members,” she said.
Brenda is a certified Farrell’s instructor and has also coached new students.
